Hilton is set to accelerate its expansion in Greater China with 19 new Hilton Garden Inn property signings, announced at the 2025 Hilton Garden Inn Investment Summit.

These projects were signed in markets such as Xining, Weihai, Changbai Mountain, and Yiwu, and underscore the company’s commitment to leading the upscale focused-service segment in Asia, particularly in key cities and high-potential cultural tourism.

The expansion is part of a strategic move to triple Hilton’s focused-service presence in the continent, following the recent announcement of three new properties in Southeast Asia.

With more than 130 Hilton Garden Inn hotels already operating in the Asia Pacific region, the brand continues to draw investor interest through its design prototype, tailored offerings, and flexible franchising and management agreement options.

Hilton Asia Pacific development senior vice-president Clarence Tan said: “This wave of signings, including entries into key destinations, marks a milestone in Hilton’s regional expansion.

“Targeting core urban centres and high-potential cultural and tourism destinations deepens our network in China as we aim to serve ever more business and leisure travellers. Hilton Garden Inn now has more than 115 trading properties in China, and we are poised to grow rapidly with another 185 in the pipeline.”
