Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV) has opened Ocean Tower by Hilton Grand Vacations Club, the company’s fourth property in Waikoloa and first on Hawaii Island providing direct oceanfront views.
The multi-phase project will consist of approximately 350 units comprising studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom suites, including upgraded penthouse residences.
The first phase, which has been completed, features 72 units consisting of 18 studios, 24 one-bedroom suites, 24 two-bedroom suites and six three-bedroom suites.
HGV president and CEO Mark Wang said: “We are thrilled to open this magnificent oceanfront resort in one of the most beautiful destinations in the world.
“Ocean Tower continues to showcase our strong relationship with Hilton and Park Hotels & Resorts, marked by our first property within the iconic Hilton Waikoloa Village.

The resort showcases a unique Hawaiian design with textures and finishes native to the Big Island’s natural environment.
It offers several amenities, such as a check-in and departure lounge. It will also feature an exclusive fitness centre in the near future.
Furthermore, customers will be able to have access to amenities of the Hilton Waikoloa Village, including three pools salt water lagoon; Dolphin Quest; tennis courts; tram and boat system; resort shops; restaurants; and Kohala Spa.
Ocean Tower is HGV’s ninth property to be opened in Hawaii as part of the company’s plan to increase its inventory in the US state.
HGV intends to open additional properties in Maui in 2021 and Waikiki in 2022.
The company’s other properties in Hawaii include The Grand Islander by Hilton Grand Vacations Club, Waikiki, which opened in 2017; Kings’ Land by Hilton Grand Vacations Club (2008); Kohala Suites by Hilton Vacations Club (2006); and The Bay Club at Waikoloa Beach Resort (1997).
HGV also operates two club membership programmes: Hilton Grand Vacations Club and The Hilton Club, which provide exclusive exchange, leisure travel and reservation services to over 300,000 club members.
