Hospitality company Hilton has launched its Spark by Hilton brand in India, unveiling two properties in Bengaluru and Goa.

The company said that the launch also marks the brand’s entry into the Asia Pacific region, following Hilton’s previously announced partnership with Olive Hospitality to open 150 Spark by Hilton hotels across India.

Hilton noted that its 82-room Spark by Hilton Bengaluru Marathahalli Outer Ring Road hotel is positioned to tap into the corporate and meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) segment concentrated in that part of the city.

In Goa, the 64-room Spark by Hilton Goa Calangute is aimed at holidaymakers, group bookings, corporate offsites and demand generated via travel agencies.

Hilton said the brand’s India debut has been adapted for domestic traveller preferences.

The properties will include a gym and, at selected locations, in-room dining. They will also have vending machines with everyday items such as chargers, batteries and snacks.

Hilton Asia Pacific president Alan Watts said: “India continues to be one of Hilton’s most exciting growth markets in Asia Pacific, fuelled by strong travel demand, rising consumer confidence and an expanding appetite for quality branded stays.

“The debut of Spark by Hilton marks an important milestone in our bid to serve more guests across all stay occasions, while accelerating our ability to grow at scale with the right partners.

“Together with Olive Hospitality, we are bringing a brand to market that is built for today’s traveller — simple, reliable and rooted in Hilton’s signature hospitality.”

Hilton and Olive Hospitality plan to extend the Spark footprint to additional cities over the next few years, with future sites expected in Hyderabad, Jaipur, Mathura, Nashik, Pune and Rajkot.

Olive Hospitality co-founder and CEO Kahraman Yigit said: “We believe Spark by Hilton has the potential to redefine what value-driven hospitality looks like in India.

“What makes the brand especially relevant for this region is its ability to scale efficiently through conversions, backed by the strength and global recognition of Hilton.

“Together with Hilton, we are helping shape a more organised and reliable mid-market segment for India’s next generation of travellers.”

Spark by Hilton, launched in 2023, currently has more than 240 hotels in operation and nearly 230 properties under development across the US, Canada, the UK and other international markets.

In May 2025, Hilton partnered with Al Musbah Group to launch Spark by Hilton in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
