Hilton has unveiled the official name for its extended-stay hotel brand designed for long-stay guests as LivSmart Studios by Hilton. 

The company announced plans to launch this brand in May last year. 

The company notes that the brand garnered more than 350 deals in various stages of negotiation within six months of its launch.  

LivSmart Studios by Hilton marks the latest addition to Hilton’s extensive portfolio, which now includes 22 brands.  

This lower midscale extended-stay solution is claimed to offer a consistent and reliable foundation for guests staying for extended periods. 

The brand caters to a market segment consisting of guests who require accommodations for 20 nights or more.

LivSmart Studios by Hilton brand leader Isaac Lake said: “After much anticipation, we’re thrilled to announce that LivSmart Studios by Hilton is official. 

“With a resilient $300bn workforce travel market, the extended-stay segment continues to grow. It has never been as primed as it is now for this long-stay brand, and we’re thrilled with the initial excitement we’ve received from owners.”  

The brand offers three elements to its guests comprising deliberate design, spacious studio apartment-style accommodations and nontraditional lobby experience 

The deliberate design of LivSmart Studios features an exterior with warm wood tones and a modern farmhouse-inspired palette, along with light industrial touches.  

It also includes outdoor patios with grills, a communal fire pit, and comfortable seating. 

The spacious studio apartment-style accommodations offer an adaptable layout with spacious bathrooms, efficient closet design, ample storage, and movable furniture.  

The fully equipped kitchen area includes a dishwasher, microwave, full-sized refrigerator, and two-burner stovetop, catering to the needs of long-stay travellers. 

Besides, LivSmart’s nontraditional lobby experience provides a clear sight line to the fitness and laundry areas, as well as a simple retail market.  

This design aims to foster an environment for guests to enjoy a cup of coffee, exercise, or do their laundry. 

In addition, LivSmart Studios by Hilton will be part of Hilton’s loyalty programme called the Hilton Honours programme. 

Last October, the first LivSmart Studios property broke ground in Kokomo, Indiana, US.
