
Global hospitality company Hilton has revealed plans to launch the first LXR Hotels & Resorts property in China, further extending its luxury portfolio in the country.
The company plans to open the hotel in 2027 in Xi’an in partnership with Zhong Ding Guo Sheng.
Since its inception in 2018, LXR Hotels & Resorts has expanded to a collection of 13 luxury properties globally, each providing better experiences, design, and services.
The upcoming Xi’an property will join Hilton’s luxury portfolio in China, alongside Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts and Conrad Hotels & Resorts, as well as the recently signed Signia by Hilton.
Under the luxury segment, Hilton has 33 hotels currently operating and another 21 in the pipeline across Greater China. Hilton’s collaboration with Small Luxury Hotels of the World further enhances its luxury offerings.
Located in Datang Everbright City, the hotel is near landmarks such as the Great Wild Goose Pagoda and Daci’en Temple.

By GlobalDataThe LXR Hotels & Resorts hotel in Xi’an will have 118 guest rooms. The hotel’s design features a sunken courtyard that offers guests a peaceful retreat while its dining options will provide a contemporary take on local flavours, combining Xi’an’s heritage with modern innovation.
For wellness and fitness enthusiasts, the hotel will include a swimming pool, a fitness centre, and various wellness experiences. Additionally, guests will benefit from the Hilton Honors loyalty programme across Hilton’s 24 distinct hotel brands.
