Boutique and lifestyle brand Hotel Indigo is set to open in Downtown Dubai this month.
This will be the firm’s first hotel in Dubai.
The hotel will be located close to some of the popular tourist destinations including Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall, reported Timeoutdubai.com.
The flagship property in Dubai will draw its inspiration from its surrounding areas.
Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown general manager Laura Eggleton was quoted by the website as saying: “As our first opening in the region, Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown combines the city’s heritage with the new, fresh buzz of the ever-evolving landscape through local collaboration.”
It will feature wallpapers created by local artists, and handcrafted wardrobes.
The hotel will have 269 rooms and each of these rooms will be inspired by the Dubai Creek.
The pearl bathrooms in spa-style are being designed to pay tribute to the country’s pearl diving heritage.
It will feature Open Sesame, a restaurant that will serve healthy dishes and specialty coffee, in addition to Bakala Jooos, a smoothie bar.
It will also have mixed drinks bar, called Off The Wall, and pool deck bar, called Orange Feels.
Guests can also enjoy a gym, yoga studio and a pool. Rates at the pet-friendly hotel will begin from AED349 per night.
