Hotel Internet Services and Itplan have announced the deployment of the GuestCast content streaming solution at Hotel Kryb I Ly Kro in Denmark.
GuestCast helps the property meet the needs of international travellers, allowing them to access their personal streamed content seamlessly, regardless of their location.
This solution enables each guest to wirelessly cast content in their native language to the guestroom TV from their personal devices.
GuestCast seamlessly integrates with virtually any Apple- or Android-based devices and laptop computers, ensuring instant compatibility.
It is compatible with many mobile streaming apps and offers access to a diverse array of streaming subscriptions, catering to the individual preferences of guests.
The solution also simplifies the process of connecting devices to the guestroom TV with a QR code scan option and offers built-in security and privacy features.

This process allows guests to not enter their streaming subscription login details on the TV.
Additionally, it protects guest privacy by preventing content streaming to other guestroom televisions.
It has also helped the 77-room Hotel Kryb I Ly Kro avoid expenses incurred by a sister property, which had to replace 140 televisions to achieve the features that GuestCast delivers.
The hotel includes a range of amenities, including a swimming pool and sauna.
Hotel Kryb I Ly Kro director Anders Løkkegaard Madsen said: “Thanks to GuestCast, we have been able to adopt the latest abilities in personalised entertainment that travellers around the world are seeking out, all without replacing even one of our currently in-use televisions.
“In addition to keeping installation costs down, we could not be happier with the service quality and ease of use that our guests routinely now have access to and are thrilled to say that we have experienced no troubleshooting issues since deploying the solution.”
Hotel Internet Services is a full-service internet service and solutions provider for the hospitality industry while Itplan is a supplier and IT infrastructure developer in Denmark.
