US-based Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG) has assumed the management of DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Atlanta – Roswell.

Located at 1075 Holcomb Bridge Road, the 174-room property is HVMG’s fifth Atlanta hotel agreement announced in the last two months.

The property is situated close to various local area attractions including Historic Downtown Roswell, the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Park, Avalon and the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre.

It has an outdoor pool, a fitness centre, an advanced business centre, provides more than 12,000ft2 of meeting space, shuttle service within five miles, and free Wi-Fi.

Dining venues include Dogwood Café, catering healthy “functional foods” alongside steaks and other American fare and Dogwood Lounge, which serves drink and appetisers.

HVMG president and CEO Robert Cole said: “With the recent addition of the 344 room Marriott Atlanta Perimeter Center, we continue to expand our operating platform in our hometown of Atlanta.

“As we set our sights on additional growth, we will continue to partner with leading owners with both branded and independent hotels and resorts nationwide. Having worked through multiple downturns in the past, HVMG is uniquely positioned to maximise asset values as the industry continues the climb back from the impact of Covid-19.”

The hotel’s new owner RADCO, a real estate firm, plans to invest $6.25m or $36k per key on the property.

The renovation project includes upgradation and modernisation of the guestrooms and bathrooms, common areas, mechanicals, and technology to maintain quality and brand standards.

RADCO managing director Norman Radow said: “Atlanta and the surrounding region are growing faster than other markets, and there is a compelling need for good quality yet value priced hotel experiences. HVMG can give us that quality service and at a price our customers can afford. We are excited about our new partnership!”
