A Hyatt Hotels affiliate has signed a franchise agreement with SIC Hospitality to launch Kennedy 89 Hotel in Frankfurt, Germany.
Kennedy 89 is currently under construction and is expected to open within The Unbound Collection by Hyatt later this year, becoming The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand’s first hotel in Frankfurt and the second Hyatt-branded hotel in the city.
The property will feature 181 guest rooms, including 68 suites with private balconies and several of these will offer views of the Frankfurt skyline. In addition, the rooms will feature integrated kitchenettes aimed at guests looking for extended stays.
The hotel is a ten minute drive from Frankfurt International Airport and the city’s major station.
Hyatt Europe and North Africa development vice-president Felicity Black-Roberts said: “With Frankfurt being one of the world’s leading financial centres, we are delighted to announce plans for the first hotel in The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand in the city with this one-of-a-kind property, marking an important milestone in our impressive luxury brand growth in Europe.
“We are honoured to collaborate with SIC Hospitality GmbH on this project to bring their distinct vision to life in such a key destination that is sure to attract global travellers and locals alike.”
The hotel will include a ground-floor destination restaurant with street-level entrances, an outdoor seating area and standalone bars on the first floor and rooftop.
Furthermore, guests can access the on-site gym and underground parking area. The event space will consist of the hotel’s lounge with a bar, surrounded by approximately 1,400ft² of banqueting space with conference rooms for meetings.
SIC Hospitality managing director Benjamin Blackman said: “Combining luxury service with the added flexibility of long-stay comfort, we are confident that Kennedy 89 will be perfectly positioned to help visitors of this vibrant city enjoy an elevated, comfort-rich experience, whether they are in town for a short break or doing business over an extended period and believe it will be a strong addition to Hyatt’s dynamic brand portfolio.”
