
Global hospitality company Hyatt Hotels has announced the opening of Andaz Miami Beach, marking the Andaz brand’s foray in Florida, US.
This launch is the first since the formation of the Hyatt Lifestyle Group.
Featuring a blend of Mediterranean and Miami influences, the hotel is located close to South Beach and offers a secluded retreat on Mid-Beach.
Designed by EoA Group in collaboration with the Hyatt Lifestyle Group’s in-house design team, the newly opened property is owned by Sunstone Hotel Investors.
Andaz Miami Beach boasts 287 guest rooms, encompassing 64 suites that provide views of the ocean and the Miami skyline.
It features two heated outdoor pools with private cabanas, a beach club for members, a spa, and three dining options from the José Andrés Group.

Hyatt Lifestyle Group president and creative director Amar Lalvani said: “It’s a place where you arrive and never want to leave.
“The setting is perfect, the feeling is effortlessly cool, the music is always just right, and with José Andrés involved, you know the food and drink will be on point.”
In June 2022, Hyatt had disclosed plans to rebrand the hotel, which was earlier known as The Confidante Miami Beach resort.
Further details about the Andaz Miami Beach will be released in the coming weeks, stated the company.
Hyatt’s portfolio encompasses more than 1,450 hotels and all-inclusive properties in 79 countries in six continents.
Last month, Hyatt announced the debut of its upper-midscale extended stay brand, Hyatt Studios, with the launch of a new hotel in Mobile, Alabama, US.
Hyatt Studios is part of the Hyatt Essentials Portfolio, which is a collection of focused service brands that aim to deliver essential needs to guests.
