Hyatt Hotels has opened its second Alila-branded hotel in Oman on a beachfront in the southwest region of Dhofar.

The opening of the new luxury hotel, Alila Hinu Bay, is part of the hospitality company’s plan to bolster its luxury lifestyle and wellbeing offering in the region.

The property is the 27th Hyatt-branded hotel in the region.

Alila Hinu Bay general manager Martin Persson said: “We are very excited to add Alila Hinu Bay to the Hyatt portfolio and welcome guests to this region of Oman, a true nature lover’s paradise full of stunning landscapes, waterfalls and greenery.

“Dedicated to being responsible and sustainable, guests can enjoy the farm to table concept at one of our three dining options or treat themselves to a customized spa experience that uses natural products.”

The new hotel is located within driving distance from Salalah International Airport. It includes 112 guestrooms and villas.

The guestrooms offer lagoon or sea views with a separate terrace, while the villas feature private plunge pools and outdoor bathtubs and offer direct access to the beach.

The hotel also features multiple dining venues and a spa.

Outside, the guests can engage in fishing, enjoy coral reefs, or visit Wadi Darbat valleys, natural caves, waterfalls and Khor Rori, the largest nature reserve in the area.

Overall, Hyatt has 15 Alila-branded properties across Indonesia, India, China, Cambodia, Malaysia and the US. The other Alila-branded hotel in Oman is Alila Jabal Akhdar.

In April, Hyatt Hotels opened the first hotel under the Hyatt Regency brand in Switzerland.
