Thompson Hotels, a luxury boutique lifestyle hospitality brand, has opened its new property in downtown Denver, Colorado, US.

The hotel’s debut was announced by Hyatt Hotels. Local architecture firm DLR Group has crafted the 11-storey property and New York-based Parts and Labor Design has overseen the interiors.

Located in LoDo neighbourhood, Thompson Denver is situated close to attractions, such as the 16th Street Promenade, Union Station, Larimer Square, Coors Field, Ball Arena, and popular eateries, craft breweries, theatres, and museums.

The new-build hotel has 216 guestrooms and is owned by hospitality real estate firm T2 Hospitality. It is a short drive from Denver International Airport.

Thompson Denver has a 90-seat restaurant, Chez Maggy, by chef Ludo Lefebvre on the ground-floor and a sunroom bar and lounge Reynard Social on the sixth floor.

Other guest amenities include 1,032ft2 signature Thompson Suite, featuring large private terrace with seating for eight, three meetings and events spaces and a 24-hour fitness centre fitted with advanced equipment.

Recently, an affiliate of Hyatt signed a franchise agreement with Thera Island Suites for Magma Resort Santorini in the Greek Islands.
