A new Hyatt House hotel has opened in Rochester, Minnesota to provide extended-stay accommodations for Mayo Clinic patients and their families.

PEG Companies owns the new hotel, dubbed as Hyatt House Rochester / Mayo Clinic Area, which is managed by In-Group Hospitality.

General manager Michael Fox has been appointed to manage and oversee the hotel’s daily operations, associates and service while Meghann Southwick will provide sales service and support.

It features 172 extended stay suites with fully equipped kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms.

The new property also includes a lounge, outdoor terrace and fire pits, BBQ on the ground level patio, The H BAR, 24-hour H Market and a 24-hour gym. It includes gathering rooms with more than 1,500ft2 of flexible meeting spaces.

The hotel is located in close proximity to Mayo Clinic and Saint Mary’s Hospital, Mayo Civic Center, University of Minnesota Rochester, Winona State University-Rochester, Heart of the City, and the future Discovery Walk.
