Global hospitality company Hyatt Hotels has added La Zambra hotel in Málaga, Andalusia, Spain to its The Unbound Collection by Hyatt.

The old hotel, Byblos, which closed in 2015, underwent a complete modernisation programme before opening as La Zambra.

The property is located 20 minutes from Málaga airport.

Located in the Mijas mountains, La Zambra offers convenient access to golf courses and beaches of the Mediterranean.

La Zambra features 197 rooms and suites as well as a the 3,700ft² La Zambra penthouse with amenities like private entrance, a private swimming pool and others.

Bamboleo bar serves menus that blends local dishes with Asian, American, and Mexican-influenced offerings as well as cocktail, while La Bartola offers light snacks and lunches.

Other guest amenities include the 26,909ft² Mood Spa, featuring a Turkish bath, sauna, whirlpools and 12 personalised treatment cabins and four meeting rooms with a total of up to 5,381ft² of space.

The property also boasts on-site fitness facilities fitted with the latest Technogym equipment, two tennis courts, a paddle court, and two outdoor swimming pools.
