Hyatt Place, a brand of Hyatt Hotels, has debuted its first hotel in Indonesia with Hyatt Place Makassar.

The hotel is near the business district and several tourist destinations and is expected to attract both business and leisure travellers.

The hotel boasts the Hyatt Place brand’s signature design and casual atmosphere, coupled with practical amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi and round-the-clock food services.

It offers 145 guest rooms integrated with 31 Sudirman Suite apartments. The guest rooms are designed with separate areas for sleeping, working, and relaxation.

It also provides a complimentary breakfast with a variety of hot and cold items, catering to diverse preferences.

The food and beverage facilities that the hotel features include The Market, which offers freshly prepared meals available 24/7; and The Placery, where guests can enjoy coffees, beers, wines, and cocktails.

The hotel is owned by PT Indonesia Paradise Property and PT Rifai Maju Properti, which owns apartments, luxury malls and hotels in Indonesia, including Grand Hyatt Jakarta and Plaza Indonesia.

Last November, Hyatt Hotels opened Hyatt Place Johor Bahru Paradigm Mall in Malaysia.

The 202-room hotel was the first Hyatt Place hotel in the area and is owned by WCT Hartanah Jaya Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of WCT Holdings Berhad.
