Upscale brand Hyatt Regency has opened a new hotel in Cairo, marking Hyatt’s return into Egypt’s capital and boosting its presence in North Africa.

Suitable for both business and leisure travellers, the five-star hotel is situated within the Pyramid Heights Business Park and joins Hyatt Regency Sharm El Sheikh in South Sinai Governorate, Egypt.

It is also located close to business hubs, mega malls, and some of Egypt’s top tourist destinations including Pyramids of Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum.

Hyatt Regency Cairo West features 250 rooms including 26 suites equipped with advanced technology and amenities including smart mirrors and sensor LED lighting controls.

The property also has Spa Rooms that provide in-room massage and amenities such as in-room hot tub, a sauna, and a massage table.

Additionally, guests can access the exclusive Regency Club Lounge by upgrading to Regency Club room.

Meeting and events venues in the hotel include a Grand Ballroom with 4,606ft² of banquet space for up to 500 guests, an 8,900ft² multifunctional meeting rooms and event space and a five-star outdoor venue, The Arena, to accommodate up to 3,000 guests.

In addition, Hyatt Regency Cairo West boasts dining venues including Barranco, Park Food Hall, The Plaza and Shisha Bar and more.

The plan for a Hyatt-branded hotel in Cairo was announced in October 2019 after a Hyatt affiliate entered into a franchise agreement with ALDAU Development group.
