
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the signing of a management agreement with Caribe Hospitality affiliate for Hyatt Centric Escazu San Jose.
Slated for opening in 2024, the lifestyle hotel will introduce the Hyatt Centric brand to Costa Rica.
Representing the third Hyatt Centric hotel in Central America, it will demonstrate Hyatt’s intentional brand growth in Latin America and the Caribbean region.
Hyatt Latin America & the Caribbean development senior vice-president Camilo Bolaños said: “As Hyatt seeks further growth of its lifestyle brand portfolio in key markets that matter to our guests, World of Hyatt members, and customers, we are thrilled to team up with Caribe Hospitality to continue the expansion of the Hyatt Centric brand in Central America.

The 161-room Hyatt Centric Escazu San Jose is located along the Próspero Fernández Highway in Escazu and will provide modern guestrooms and suites, full-service bar and an all-day dining restaurant.
It will also have a large fitness centre, 4,000ft2 of event space, and a fully equipped coffee bar and lounge.
