Hyatt Hotels has unveiled plans to open Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort in Mexico this December.

Introducing the Grand Hyatt brand to Cancun, the property will operate as an all-inclusive resort.

Owned by Grupo Diestra, the resort will comprise 500 guest rooms, including 47 suites. Each room will include a private terrace with views of the ocean or marina.

Selected suites will have private pools while Grand Club rooms will provide access to the brand’s Grand Club premium offering.

The resort will feature 14 food and beverage outlets, a spa, nine multi-level outdoor pools, a fitness centre and a dedicated Grand Kids Club.

The property will provide approximately 30,000ft² of flexible indoor event space on one level, supported by terraces, beach venues and poolside settings.
