New York’s Rockefeller Center has announced it has reached an agreement with Aspen Hospitality to
open a new luxury hotel. The Little Nell hotel will be located in 10 floors above the NBC “Today” show studios, pending city approval.
The new hotel will feature 130 guest rooms, a restaurant, and a rooftop bar when it opens in 2026.
Aspen Hospitality is a privately owned company that specialises in developing and managing luxury and upscale hotels and residences. The company’s first Little Nell opened in Aspen, Colorado, in 1989.
New hotel to boost revitalisation plan for Rockefeller Center
The addition of the new hotel is part of a larger plan to revitalise the Rockefeller Center complex, which has been a hub of commerce and entertainment in New York City since its construction in the 1930s.
The centre is home to a number of attractions, including the famous ice-skating rink and the Radio City Music Hall.
