
Hospitality company Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has revealed plans for a new resort in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, under its Gateway brand.
Spread across 30.8 acres, the brownfield project will feature 186 rooms.
The upcoming resort will offer a wide range of dining experiences, including an all-day diner, speciality restaurants, and a bar.
The property will be equipped with amenities such as a gym, two swimming pools, a spa, and an accompanying golf course.
Furthermore, the resort will offer banqueting facilities for social and corporate events.
The property will have two outdoor spaces capable of hosting up to 10,000 guests and two indoor halls covering a total of 1,100m².

By GlobalDataIHCL real estate and development executive vice-president Suma Venkatesh said: “Gwalior, with its rich heritage and growing infrastructure, is emerging as a key destination in central India.
“This signing reflects our strategy of expanding in key cultural and economic centres across the country. We are delighted to partner with Imperial Hospitality for this project.”
Upon completion, the Gateway Gwalior is claimed to become the 15th property of IHCL in Madhya Pradesh, with six hotels currently under development.
IHCL operates a diverse portfolio of brands, including Taj, SeleQtions, Tree of Life, Vivanta, Gateway, and Ginger.
With a global presence, IHCL’s portfolio includes 350 hotels, with 118 under development, spread across four continents, 13 countries, and more than 150 locations, signifying its expansive reach in the hospitality sector.
Last month, IHCL opened the Taj Cochin International Airport hotel, in the presence of the Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in Cochin, Kerala.
