Hospitality company Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has expanded its lean luxe portfolio with the introduction of a Ginger brand hotel in Diu.

Located on Jalandhar Beach, Daman & Diu Union Territory, the new 45-key hotel offers guests a serene retreat with views of the Arabian Sea and access to local attractions.

IHCL Hotel openings and new businesses executive vice-president Deepika Rao said: “We are delighted to step foot in Diu, a hidden gem along the western coast. Ginger in Diu will offer a blend of style and comfort, enhancing the destination’s appeal for travellers.”

Ginger Diu features the brand’s signature all-day diner, a poolside bar, and a swimming pool. The hotel is also equipped to host a variety of events with its conference hall for business meetings while a poolside outdoor venue is available for social gatherings.

IHCL has a collection of brands that include Gateway, Ginger, SeleQtions, Taj, Tree of Life, and Vivanta.

The company boasts a global portfolio of 350 hotels, with 118 under development, spanning 13 countries across four continents.

Earlier this year, IHCL announced the introduction of the Gateway brand hotel in Rishikesh, India. The 125-key Gateway Rishikesh Hotel, set on a six-acre site with views of the Ganges River, aims to serve both leisure and MICE [meeting, incentives, conferences and exhibitions] markets.
