Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has further expanded its presence in India with the signing of a new hotel in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
The IHCL-SeleQtions branded hotel in the Bandra neighbourhood is a brownfield project.
For this project, IHCL has teamed up with Polson, a manufacturer and exporter of vegetable tannin extracts.
The hotel comprises 43 rooms with an all-day diner. It occupies multiple floors of a mixed-use development, featuring upscale retail outlets and restaurants.
IHCL real estate and development executive vice president Suma Venkatesh said: “This signing is in line with IHCL’s vision of expanding its presence in important micro markets in major cosmopolitan cities.
“‘Queen of Suburbs’ Bandra, home to celebrities, is also famous for its shopping, restaurants, nightlife, and heritage sites. It is adjacent to the leading commercial hub of Bandra Kurla Complex. This will be the second IHCL-SeleQtions branded hotel in Mumbai. We are delighted to partner with Polson for this hotel.’’
