Hospitality firm Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has further expanded its footprint in the country with the addition of a new hotel in the state of Goa.

Situated in a colonial neighbourhood, Vivanta Goa, Miramar hotel offers views of the Arabian Sea and easy access to the beach, and popular destinations for art, culture and nightlife.

Featuring a modern design, the property is located close to the Panjim’s City Centre.

Vivanta Goa, Miramar hotel manager Suhash Bose said: “Vivanta Goa, Miramar is located in close proximity to major tourist attractions and the city centre. It is ideally suited for both, leisure and business travellers. I look forward to welcoming guests to Goa’s new address.”

The hotel offers 77 rooms, a meeting room, and a rooftop terrace suitable for meetings and social gatherings.

Dining venues in the hotel include the all-day diner Mynt, which serves cuisines from across the globe, and a Rooftop Poolside Bar.

With the opening of the new hotel, the company’s portfolio in the state will have 20 hotels and bungalows including two that are currently under development.

IHCL managing director and chief executive officer Puneet Chhatwal said: “IHCL is deeply committed to Goa. We stepped into the destination over four decades ago.

“With the addition of this hotel, the company further expands its footprint and has a portfolio of 20 hotels and bungalows across brands dotting the length and breadth of this beautiful state.”

Vivanta upscale hotel brand is part of IHCL and operates a network of 35 hotels including 11 under development.

In June this year, IHCL revealed plans to open a new 775-room hotel at Kempegowda International Airport (BLR Airport).

The new Vivanta and Ginger branded hotel will be part of the Airport City in Bengaluru.
