IHG Hotels & Resorts is continuing to expand the Holiday Inn Express brand in Europe with the opening of new hotel in Germany.

Named as Holiday Inn Express Dusseldorf – Hauptbahnhof, the new hotel has been launched in partnership with PRIMESTAR.

The 455-room property is the brand’s largest Holiday Inn Express hotel in Europe so far.

Holiday Inn Express Dusseldorf – Hauptbahnhof general manager Hendrik Engel said: “We are absolutely delighted to be opening Europe’s largest Holiday Inn Express here in Dusseldorf. The hotel is located just 1km from the city’s central railway and is close to the Dusseldorf Airport.

It features Holiday Inn Express’ contemporary Next Generation design, complementary Wi-Fi and ‘Express Start’ breakfast, and flexible working spaces equipped with modern technology.

Holiday Inn Express Dusseldorf – Hauptbahnhof also boasts two fully-equipped meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 18 people as well as a self-service business centre.

IHG has recently signed and opened new Holiday Inn Express hotels in Europe including Holiday Inn Express Fulda in Germany, Holiday Inn Express Nice – Grand Arenas, France and Holiday Inn Express Lustenau, Austria.

Recently, IHG signed a deal to open InterContinental Resort Red Sea in Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Development destination.
