IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a new agreement with multi-hotel operator tristar to operate a Holiday Inn hotel in Ratingen, Dusseldorf, Germany.

An existing hotel will be renovated and converted to Holiday Inn Ratingen.

The hotel will feature 134 rooms and a range of amenities, including a full-service restaurant with the ‘Kids Stay & Eat Free’ programme, a bar, and five meeting rooms suitable for various events.

Its design will include the Holiday Inn brand’s open Lobby concept, providing a flexible space for guests to connect and relax.

Expected to open in the second half of 2025, the fully renovated hotel will cater to both leisure and business travellers.

The hotel will be a short drive away from the Konigsallee shopping boulevard and the Kunstpalast art museum.
