IHG Hotels & Resorts has expanded its presence in the UK with the signing of new Hotel Indigo property in London.

The company will rebrand existing K West hotel into Hotel Indigo London K West Shepherds.

The new property will have 252 bedrooms, restaurant and bar, boutique spa featuring hydrotherapy pool and advanced business facilities and function rooms.

Hotel Indigo London K West Shepherds is close to local attractions including Westfield London and the re-purposed Television Centre in White City and others.

Slated to open in the spring of 2025, the new property will be the sixth Hotel Indigo in London.

Hotel Indigo, an upscale boutique brand under IHG, plans to double its portfolio presence over the next three to five years.

Currently, the brand has 143 open hotels and more than 119 hotels in the pipeline.

In a separate development, IHG announced the signing of voco Bangkok Surawong with real estate investor and developer Tawanna Property Company.

The 242-room hotel will be a rebrand of the former Tawanna Bangkok hotel and is expected to open in 2025 after full renovation.

Guest amenities at voco Bangkok Surawong include two restaurants and bars, more than 500m2 of meeting rooms, an outdoor pool, gym and Kids Club.

The property is just a 40-minute drive from Suvarnabhumi International Airport and close to restaurants, shopping and entertainment attractions.
