Wellness facilities are centred on EverNine Spa & Wellness, which includes treatment rooms, an indoor heated swimming pool, an outdoor plunge pool and a 24-hour fitness centre.
In total, the hotel has more than 2,150m² of meeting and event space.
On the ground floor, the Bloom Ballroom extends across around 1,200m² and has a pillar-free design and high ceilings.
A further four multi-purpose rooms on the second floor are available for board meetings, private dining and other functions.
EverNine Spa & Wellness covers 913m² and contains eight private treatment rooms. The broader wellness provision also includes a shallow leisure pool, areas for movement and mindfulness, and an outdoor activity lawn.
Kimpton Nine Trees Shanghai general manager Thomas Schmitt-Glaeser said: “Kimpton Nine Trees Shanghai was created as a new kind of urban escape — where design, art, wellness, and social energy come together in one living environment.
“Our vision is to offer guests more than a stay; we want them to arrive, slow down, reconnect with themselves, and leave feeling inspired, recharged, and genuinely connected to the people and moments around them.”
The opening brings Kimpton’s global operating portfolio to 87 hotels. Recent additions to the brand include Kimpton Mirador Pacific Grove Monterey and Kimpton Miralina Resort & Villas, while its development pipeline stands at 67 hotels.
