UK-based hospitality chain InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has opened a new hotel, Holiday Inn Express Lima San Isidro.
The hotel is located at Calle Coronel Andres Reyes No. 492, San Isidro in Peru.
A franchised affiliate of IHG, the new Holiday Inn Express Lima San Isidro hotel is owned by Corporación Hotelera and managed by Grupo Agrisal, Division Hotelera.
IHG Mexico, Latin America and Caribbean marketing, commercial and revenue strategy regional vice-president Gerardo Murray said: “We are thrilled to bring the fresh and modern Holiday Inn Express brand to the remarkable city of Lima.
“An ideal hotel for travellers who appreciate good value, the Holiday Inn Express Lima San Isidro is a smart and comfortable option for those wanting to enjoy one of South America’s greatest historical and gastronomical capitals.”
The hotel has 175 guestrooms that feature a modern design, comfortable king-sized or twin-sized beds, flat screen TV, a mini refrigerator, coffee machine with complimentary coffee.
Furthermore, the hotel offers a complimentary Express Start breakfast that includes yoghurt, fruit, juices, fresh eggs and meat selections, and also regional dishes.
Other amenities offered are free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour fitness centre and an indoor heated swimming pool. Additionally, the hotel offers two modern business meeting rooms.
The hotel takes part in IHG Green Engage and offers programmes to achieve sustainability.
IHG plans to open six hotels in Peru over the coming years. It currently has Crowne Plaza Lima hotel and Holiday Inn Lima Airport hotel in the capital.
