The portfolio includes six hotels with a total of 1,125 rooms in Germany, located in cities such as Leipzig, Wiesbaden, and Bremen, and four hotels comprising 497 rooms in Belgium, including at Brussels City Centre and Brussels Airport. It also features one property offering 186 rooms and located at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport in France.

The introduction of the Garner brand to Belgium marks its first appearance in the country and further increases IHG’s presence in Germany, where the group will approach 50 open hotels.

Currently operated under the PentaHotels brand, the hotels will be owned by a joint venture (JV) between Ironstone Group and Ogilvy Management, with funding provided by Goldman Sachs and Castlelake.

Bralower & Loewe Hospitality Partners, a Luxembourg-based management firm established by the JV, will operate them.

This management company aims to enhance hotel asset operations through collaborations with international hotel companies.

The properties are expected to join IHG’s system by the first half of 2027, providing access to IHG’s commercial resources, global booking channels and the IHG One Rewards loyalty programme.

The new agreements will contribute to IHG’s development pipeline of 264 properties throughout the region.

IHG Hotels & Resorts Europe SVP & managing director Karin Sheppard said: “We’re delighted to partner with Ironstone Group and Ogilvy Management to welcome 11 high-quality hotels into our portfolio – all in prime city‑centre and key airport locations.”

Separately, IHG has signed a management agreement with Thanishq Grande Hotels & Resorts for the new Holiday Inn Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu, India, scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2029.

The 200-room hotel is set to target corporate and transit demand with a range of facilities, including standard rooms and suites, three dining outlets, a ballroom, fitness centre, and swimming pool.

Recently, IHG signed a management agreement with NCPL for the development of Holiday Inn Goa Kadamba, set to open in early 2030.
