Abu Estate CEO Abu Akil said: “We are pleased to join the IHG Hotels & Resorts family and expand the presence of Holiday Inn brand in Chennai. Holiday Inn is one of the most recognised brands across the world, offering a consistently comfortable and welcoming experience.

“With the hotel’s prime location, coupled with IHG’s global strength, technological prowess, and esteemed loyalty programme, we are confident the hotel will be a preferred choice once it opens its doors to guests.”

The property’s location will provide guests access to nearby government offices, railway station, residential complexes, and landmark buildings.

Earlier this week, IHG extended its partnership with Dinso Resort to launch the third Vignette Collection-branded property in Thailand.

The company currently operates 45 hotels in India under five brands, with an additional 45 properties in the development pipeline, scheduled to open in the next three to five years.
