There are four multi-function meeting rooms that can hold up to 135 guests and A’Raya Ballroom for up to 1,200 guests.

The hotel is easily accessible from the Muscat International Airport, the Al Alam Palace and the Mutrah Corniche.

In addition, the Al Khuwair Beach is just a ten-minute walking distance from the hotel.

The hotel marks the third IntercityHotel property in the Sultanate of Oman.

Deutsche Hospitality Middle East vice-president Siegfried Nierhaus said: “The Middle East is an important destination for both classical tourism and business travel. IntercityHotel fits nicely into the region, as the concept accommodates the needs of any and all travellers.

“We look forward to our continued successful trajectory in positioning the brand in Oman alongside the hotels in Salalah and Nizwa while successively expanding our portfolio in this region.”

In January this year, Deutsche Hospitality opened its 216-room IntercityHotel Wiesbaden in Germany.
