Deutsche Hospitality has opened the doors of its new IntercityHotel in Wiesbaden, a city in the western German state of Hesse.
The IntercityHotel Wiesbaden’s interiors have been designed by Italian architect Matteo Thun. It is located only 20 minutes away from Germany’s largest airport.
Situated directly next to the city’s central railway station, the property is close to the RheinMain CongressCenter.
IntercityHotel managing director Christian Kaschner said: “We are delighted to be adding this highly attractive location to the growing IntercityHotel network. Wiesbaden is an important centre of business, a major spa and a congress destination.
“It has a real mix of companies which include world market leaders and is also home to the European and national headquarters of international firms in sectors such as the service industry, IT and the creative economy.
“The city’s cultural and restaurant scene, its spa facilities and parks and its proximity to the Rheingau region and the Taunus mountains range are just some of the many reasons to visit.”
The IntercityHotel Wiesbaden has 216 rooms, a restaurant, a bistro lounge, a bar and a flexible conferencing suite
The hotel is the result of a cooperation agreement with project developer GBI. Wiesbaden-based company Commerz Real run open-ended real estate fund Hausinvest is the owner of the property.
The IntercityHotel Wiesbaden general manager Sascha Wagner said: “Our position right next to the station and the Lilien-Carré Shopping Centre means that we are a gateway to Wiesbaden for our guests and can offer a comfortable temporary abode.
“Both business and leisure travellers can have complete confidence in our Safe Travels concept, which ensures the highest hygiene standards at all times.”
Last year, Deutsche Hospitality opened IntercityHotel brand hotels on Al Jaddaf Waterfront, Dubai and in the capital city of Henan Province, China.
