Interstate Hotels & Resorts has signed three management contracts for the addition of three hotels to its existing portfolio of five properties in Salt Lake City area of Utah.
The new management contracts were signed for the Courtyard by Marriott Salt Lake City Downtown, Hyatt House Salt Lake City/Downtown and Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Salt Lake City Downtown.
Signing of the agreements come after Interstate’s opening of the first Staybridge Suites in the Netherlands.
The Courtyard by Marriott Salt Lake City Downtown features 175 guestrooms, including 15 suites, a lobby, an evening bar, fitness center, indoor pool and whirlpool, and over 5,000ft2 of meeting and event space.
The Hyatt House Salt Lake City/Downtown has 159 guestrooms, including residentially inspired suites with fully equipped kitchens, three separate meeting rooms with over 1,775ft2 of space for special events.
The Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Salt Lake City Downtown offers 120 guestrooms, a lobby, free Wi-Fi and healthy complimentary breakfast, fitness center, heated indoor pool and and 950ft2 of event space.
Earlier this year, Interstate Hotels & Resorts completed the acquisition of the management agreements of 82 premium-branded, select- and full-service hotels, in addition to one restaurant, from Indiana-based White Lodging.
In February, it also appointed Rogier Hurkmans as regional vice president of operations for Continental Europe.
Interstate Hotels & Resorts operates branded full- and select-service hotels, resorts, convention centers and independent hotels. Its current global portfolio includes 540 properties in 11 countries.
