Specialist business property adviser Christie & Co has announced the sale of the Lake Vyrnwy Hotel & Spa in Powys, Wales.

This property, which has been under the same family ownership for 37 years, is being sold freehold at a guide price of £7.5m ($9.56m).

The current owners are said to have upgraded the hotel’s facilities and expanded the services provided to guests during their tenure.

Lake Vyrnwy Hotel & Spa owner Brian Bisiker said: “The business is very well positioned for a new owner to further develop and enhance in this amazing location. Most importantly we would like to thank the staff, with whom we have shared this memorable journey, for their hard work and dedication over the years.”

Lake Vyrnwy Hotel & Spa offers 52 bedrooms, a tower restaurant and bar, a spa, and event spaces for both corporate functions and social gatherings.

Additionally, the hotel features an on-site, fully automatic clay pigeon shooting venue, catering to both beginners and experienced participants.
