Langham Hospitality Group has widened its portfolio with the opening of Cordis Xuzhou in China, as reported by TravelNewsAsia.

The hotel is situated at China Merchants Xuzhou Centre, in the centre of the financial hub of Xuzhou’s new city district.

Cordis Xuzhou marks the sixth property under the Cordis brand in Greater China, besides being the seventh opening for the brand across the world.

Langham has launched Cordis Xuzhou in partnership with China Merchants Shekou Industrial Zone Holdings.

The property has joined the list of Cordis properties located in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Ningbo, Hangzhou and Auckland.

Overlooking Dalong Lake and Xuzhou’s financial centre, the hotel offers 269 guest rooms and suites with sizes ranging from 38 to 220m².

Dining options at the hotel feature a Cantonese restaurant called Ming Court and an all-day dining restaurant called Cordis Market that serves both local and international dishes.

Guests can also enjoy handcrafted cocktails, coffee and tea, as well as snacks, at the Lobby Lounge, which is located on the hotel’s 20th floor.

The hotel can host weddings as well as business gatherings at its conference and banquet area, spread across more than 1000m².

Additionally, the property offers a 25 metre indoor heated swimming pool, a fitness studio and a spa.
