Fleur Hotels, the material subsidiary of India’s Lemon Tree Hotels, has purchased land in Mumbai, Maharashtra, for the development of a property that will operate under the “Lemon Tree Premier” brand.

Situated in Bandra (East), the acquired site is slated for a planned hotel project comprising around 172 rooms.

The planned upscale, full-service establishment is designed to address rising requirements from corporate travellers, the meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) sector, as well as leisure and social segments within the city.

Positioned along the Western Express Highway in Bandra and adjacent to the Bandra Kurla Complex, the property will feature modern rooms and suites, an all-day dining venue, a fitness centre, and swimming pool amenities.

The development represents the group’s seventh establishment in Mumbai, broadening Lemon Tree Hotels’ footprint across prominent micro-markets in the commercial capital.

Lemon Tree Hotels managing director Neelendra Singh said: “Mumbai is a collection of high-yield, distinct micro-markets. Expanding to seven properties in the city, with our first development in Bandra, aligns directly with our strategy of building cluster-level market density.

“The upcoming Lemon Tree Premier, Bandra, Mumbai will bridge crucial business corridors like Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) and the vibrant social hub of Bandra.

“This strategic land acquisition reflects our deliberate focus on securing high-impact urban sites and expanding our premium footprint in top-tier markets.”

Earlier this month, Lemon Tree Hotels opened Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels in Nashik, also in Maharashtra.

Aimed at both business and leisure visitors, the 48-key property featured a selection of rooms and suites, a fitness centre, an all-day multi-cuisine restaurant, and dedicated spaces for meetings and events.
