Lemon Tree Hotels Limited (LTHL) has signed a franchise agreement to open a new hotel in Ranchi, the capital city of Jharkhand, India.

The property, which is expected to open in the financial year (FY) 2025, will feature a total of 45 rooms. 

It will also include a restaurant, a bar, a swimming pool, a fitness centre, meeting rooms, banquet facilities, and a range of amenities and public areas. 

This development marks the third upcoming Lemon Tree property in the state, highlighting Jharkhand’s potential for growth due to its tourist attractions and industries. 

The new Lemon Tree hotel will be conveniently located approximately 7km from Birsa Munda Airport and 2km from Ranchi Railway Station, offering easy access via public and private transport.  

The company said that the new hotel’s strategic location aims to cater to the needs of both business and leisure travellers.

Earlier this month, LTHL signed a licence agreement to open a new ‘Keys Lite by Lemon Tree Hotels’ branded property in Coimbatore, a city in India’s southern state of Tamil Nadu. 

The Coimbatore hotel, which is planned to be managed by Lemon Tree Hotels’ management arm Carnation Hotels, is expected to open in FY 2026.
