Indian hospitality company Lemon Tree Hotels has signed new property agreements to build a new hotel in Badrinath, Uttarakhand, ETHospitalityWorld has reported.
Uttarakhand is a northern Indian state and is known for its Hindu pilgrimage sites.

The new hotel will feature 72 rooms, a restaurant and other public areas and is expected to be completed in fiscal year (FY) 2025.
Once completed, Lemon Tree Hotel, Badrinath will be managed by Carnation Hotels, a subsidiary and the management arm of Lemon Tree Hotels.
The hotel site is approximately 305km away from Jolly Grant Airport and roughly 290km from Rishikesh railway station.
However, the hotel is said to be well connected by roadways for both public and private transport.

By GlobalDataCarnation Hotels CEO Mahesh Aiyer was quoted by the news agency as saying: “We are delighted to announce the expansion of our portfolio in Uttarakhand with our valued partner, M/s. Lotus Enterprises.
“Religious tourism is a rapidly growing segment and we, as a brand, are actively expanding in this segment. This opening will be in addition to our eight existing and six upcoming hotels and resorts in the state.”
Earlier this month, Lemon Tree Hotels signed agreements for its new addition called Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels in Vadodara in the Indian state of Gujarat, also reported by ETHospitality.
The property will be franchised by Lemon Tree Hotels and is scheduled to open in FY2026.
