Indian hotel chain Lemon Tree Hotels has signed its latest property at Zirakpur, in the Indian state of Punjab, with plans to make it operational by the second quarter (Q2) of fiscal year 2027.

This 80-room property will be managed by Lemon Trees’ wholly-owned subsidiary and its management arm, Carnation Hotels Private Limited.

The hotel property will be located on the Shivalik Foothills in Mohali district’s Zirakpur, a town offering amenities ranging from hospitals, schools, shopping malls, restaurants and entertainment options.

At the hotel, guests will be able to access a fitness centre, a restaurant, banquets, a conference room and additional public areas.

The property is also well connected to all major cities in India by public and private transport.

It is approximately 13km from the Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport, 12.4km from Chandigarh by road and 234km from Delhi.

Opening its first hotel with 49 rooms in May 2004, Lemon Tree Hotels presently operates 8,550 rooms in 91 hotels across 57 locations.

It is also set to open hotels in Bhutan and Nepal and once the present pipeline becomes operational, the company will operate roughly 12,400 rooms in 138 hotels across 89 locations.

Earlier this month, Lemon Tree Hotels signed its second hotel in Udaipur, Rajasthan, under the Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels brand.
