The property comprises 50 guest rooms and includes facilities such as in-room dining options, a boardroom for business meetings, and a fitness centre.

Lemon Tree Hotels president Vishvapreet Singh Cheema said: “The launch of Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels, Amritsar, reflects our continued focus on bringing branded, reliable hospitality to India’s spiritual and leisure destinations.

“Located in close proximity to the Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh, and offering contemporary offerings, the hotel is well positioned to cater to the city’s growing tourism and pilgrimage demand, while further strengthening our presence in North India.”

Lemon Tree Hotels currently operates in multiple segments, managing over 130 hotels in more than 80 cities, both within India and internationally.

The company manages several brands, including Aurika Hotels & Resorts, Lemon Tree Premier, Lemon Tree Hotels, Red Fox, Keys Prima, Keys Select, and Keys Lite.

Since opening its first hotel in 2004, the group has expanded its portfolio to more than 250 operational and upcoming properties.

Last month, Lemon Tree Hotels rebranded its property in Whitefield, Bengaluru, from Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels to Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels, as part of its strategy to move the hotel into a higher segment of the market.

This rebranding supports the group’s plan to advance along the value chain by adjusting the hotel’s design, public areas, service approach, and food and beverage offering.
