Indian hospitality company Lemon Tree Hotels has launched its eighth property in the state of Uttarakhand, the Economic Times reported.

Located at Mukteshwar, the new hotel features 41 rooms and suites as well as a multi-cuisine restaurant and bar.

Other guest amenities at the hotel include a conference room, spa, swimming pool and a fitness centre.

Lemon Tree Hotel, Mukteshwar is located nearly 90km from the Pantnagar Airport and the nearest Kathgodam railway station 24km away.

The company launched the hotel after reportedly announcing the signing in March this year.

The property, owned by Alpine Chalet Resort, will be managed by Carnation Hotels, the wholly owned subsidiary and the hotel management business of Lemon Tree, the Economic Times reported at the time of signing.

At the time of signing the property, Lemon Tree Hotels Limited president Vikramjit Singh said: “We are delighted to expand our reach in Uttarakhand with our valued partner M/s The Alpine Chalet Resort.

In addition, Lemon Tree Hotels signed a license agreement for another 42-room hotel in Tezpur in the Indian state of Assam last month, CNBC TV18 reported.

The property is expected to be operational by the end of March 2025.

Last month, the company signed a 42-room hotel at Jamshedpur in the Indian state of Jharkhand that will be operational by September next year.

Lemon Tree Hotels is one of the largest hotel chains in the mid-priced hotel sector in India and operates a network of 88 hotels across 53 destinations in the country and abroad.
