The former HYPERION Hotel in Munich will operate as the Leonardo Royal Munich Bavaria Towers.

It will be Leonardo Group’s 12th hotel in the Bavarian capital, with 341 rooms and studios.

The property also has six meeting rooms covering around 700m² of conference and event space, with capacity for up to 290 people.

Other facilities include a restaurant with front cooking, a bar and lounge, a gym, more than 130 parking spaces, and charging stations for electric vehicles.

In Hanover, the former Intercity Hotel Hannover will operate as the Leonardo Hannover City Center.

The property will be the group’s fourth hotel in the Lower Saxony capital.

The 14-storey hotel, located directly east of the main railway station, has 220 rooms, a restaurant, an outdoor terrace, and a bar.

It also has five meeting rooms, three of which can be combined.

In Braunschweig, the Leonardo Braunschweig City Center has 174 air-conditioned rooms equipped with flat-screen TVs, desks, and safes.

The property also includes a restaurant and bar along with four meeting rooms.

Leonardo Hotels Central Europe vice president of development and project management Jan Heringa said: “These three hotels encompass different profiles and contrasting business environments – a large-scale conference and events venue in Munich, an inner-city location in Hanover and an entirely new venture in Braunschweig. This diversity is a good match for our approach of developing a network which extends across various locations and provides a range of hotel services.”

In September, Leonardo Hotels Central Europe expanded its German estate with acquisitions of two properties at Alexanderplatz in Berlin, as well as one in Düsseldorf and one in Dortmund.
