Leonardo Hotels Central Europe has opened the Leonardo Nürnberg City Center in Germany, following the completion of modernisation works.
Located close to Nuremberg’s main railway station, the property becomes the group’s third hotel in the city.

The renovation covered all 158 rooms, which have been upgraded to include soundproof windows.
Guest facilities now comprise a breakfast restaurant and a hotel bar.
For corporate and event clients, the hotel offers four air-conditioned conference rooms. These span a total of around 133m² and can host up to 90 people.
The building was acquired in December 2025, when it was operating as an IntercityHotel. It has since been updated and brought in line with the Leonardo Hotels brand while remaining open.
Completion of the rebranding marks the first of four former IntercityHotel properties to be fully integrated into the Leonardo portfolio.
The remaining three hotels, in Freiburg, Magdeburg and Erfurt, are expected to complete their conversion in the third and fourth quarters of 2026.

Earlier this month, Leonardo Hotels Central Europe acquired the former Hilton Evian-les-Bains hotel, located on the shores of Lake Geneva in France.
