Hylla Vintage Hotel has joined Leading Hotels of the World (LHW) as its first member from southwest China.
Within the ancient city of Lijiang in Yunnan province, the hotel is located at the base of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the southernmost glacier in Eurasia.
The hotel’s interior features a curated collection of modernist furniture dating between the 1930s and the 1960s, creating a museum of vintage culture.
Hylla Vintage Hotel is now part of LHW’s network of 400 luxury properties in 80 countries.
The hotel has previously garnered international accolades including from AHEAD and Dezeen magazine, the Landezine International Landscape Award and a Landscape Institute award, reflecting its appeal among both domestic and international audiences.
GlobalData’s travel and tourism analysis finds that the top five source markets for China are Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, the US and Russia.
