Marina Bay Sands (MBS) has completed the renovation of more than 850 hotel rooms in Singapore as part of its $1bn reinvestment programme.
The renovation of rooms in the hotels’ Towers One and Two is part of the hospitality group’s plan to cater to the rising demand for luxury travel.
As part of the $1bn renovation programme, a total of 1,282 rooms will be upgraded.
MBS noted that that the next phase of renovations will concentrate on the property’s ultra-luxe suites, including an increase in the number of suites located in Towers 1 and 2 from 137 before to 422.
The renovation of Towers One and Two is anticipated to complete by the end of this year. After that, the company will start the renovation of Tower 3, the Hotel Lobby and the Sands SkyPark.
While the specifics of these plans have not yet been made public, MBS has stated that they would update the Executive Club lounge and add new high-end fine dining and wellness options.
