Marriott International and CG Hospitality Global have agreed to develop around 100 Series by Marriott hotels across Greater China over the next ten years.

Under the partnership, CG Hospitality will collaborate with Marriott to introduce and grow the brand in the market, with the first four properties scheduled to launch by the end of 2026.

Series by Marriott, unveiled globally in May 2025, is Marriott’s latest collection brand positioned in the select-service segment.

Marriott International Greater China president Yibing Mao said: “We are delighted to work with CG Hospitality Global to bring Series by Marriott to Greater China as demand for high-quality, affordable lodging continues to grow across the region.

“As a new collection brand, Series by Marriott will broaden our reach among value-conscious travellers, provide additional choice for Marriott Bonvoy members and guests, and create new affiliation opportunities for regional hotel groups and owners.”

As part of the new arrangement, a selection of Arro Khampa boutique resorts operated by CG Hospitality Global in China is expected to join the Series by Marriott portfolio.

The initial four Series by Marriott hotels in Greater China are set to keep their individual branding and local characteristics while gaining access to the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty platform and the group’s global distribution network.

Marriott and CG Hospitality have been working together since 2024 on several hospitality developments across Asia and the Middle East.

Their cooperation began with the Farm at San Benito in the Philippines under Autograph Collection Hotels, followed by an agreement in India that coincided with the global launch of Series by Marriott.

The tie-up has since widened to encompass projects including JW Marriott Residences in Dubai, Ritz-Carlton and Westin properties in Nepal, JW Marriott in India, and Arro Khampa, Series by Marriott in China.
