Marriott Bonvoy’s Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts has opened a new property, Cosme, a Luxury Collection Resort, Paros, in Greece.
The newly opened resort includes 40 suites, each featuring private pools and custom-made furniture.
Cosme is developed by Kanava Hotels & Resorts.
Currently, Kanava owns or manages around three five-star hotels, various luxurious villas in Santorini and one five-star hotel and a villa complex in Paros.
The hotel also includes a 60m² luxury accommodation called Cosmos Suite, offering views of the Aegean Sea.
The terrace of Cosmos Suite will have an open-air dining area, a private pool, sunbeds and views across to the resort’s private beach.
The Luxury Collection global brand leader and vice president Philipp Weghmann said: “The opening of Cosme this summer is an exciting development for Paros and The Luxury Collection brand.
“The Luxury Collection provides today’s global travellers with experiences that are highly immersive and deeply reflective of the destination.
“Kanava Hotels & Resorts has been an incredible partner in bringing this vision to life at Cosme, creating an experience for guests that is singular to Paros and special in every way.”
The dining options in the resort include Volta and Parostia, a beachside restaurant offering Medite-Grecian cuisine.
Additionally, the resort has its own private beach, a beach club and a spa, located at the highest point in the resort.
Named after the Greek God of the Sun, Elios Spa offers healing rituals, treatments using indigenous resources and therapies.
The resort has a dedicated space on the roof, just above the spa, for stargazing, yoga and meditation rituals.
Last month, Marriott International revealed its plans to open The Luxury Collection branded resort in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic.
