Marriott International has opened the Kampala Marriott Hotel and Marriott Executive Apartments Kampala in Uganda.
The two launches introduce the Marriott Hotels and Marriott Executive Apartments brands to the country for the first time.

Marriott International Sub-Saharan Africa regional vice-president Johan Cronjé said: “As Uganda’s tourism and business sectors continue to evolve, we see increasing demand for hospitality experiences that cater to a broad range of traveller needs.

Kampala Marriott Hotel has 181 guest rooms and suites, including a Presidential Suite. Its twin-tower design incorporates a skybridge connecting the two buildings.
The hotel includes six restaurants and bars.
Other facilities at the hotel include Saray Spa, steam and sauna areas, a fitness centre, and a heated outdoor swimming pool.
It also offers 1,293m² of event space across six venues. The Kampala Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 1,000 guests.
Meanwhile, Marriott Executive Apartments Kampala comprises 96 fully serviced apartments, from studios to a three-bedroom penthouse.
The apartments include separate living, dining, and sleeping spaces, and are also equipped kitchens and dedicated work areas.
The openings increase Marriott International’s Uganda portfolio to seven properties across five brands.
