Marriott International has signed an agreement with Pasha Real Estate Group to develop three hotel and residential properties in Azerbaijan and Georgia.

The plans include a luxury hotel and branded residences under The Ritz-Carlton at Zagulba Beach in Baku.

The Ritz-Carlton Baku, Zagulba is expected to comprise 80 guest rooms and suites in a beach resort setting.

The hotel is expected to feature a beach club, fitness centre, indoor swimming pool, spa, and Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge.

The development is also expected to feature The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Baku, Zagulba, comprising 282 luxury apartments and villas.

As agreed, Pasha Real Estate Group will develop a new tower at the existing site to add 238 new residences, along with dedicated amenities.

The agreement also covers the proposed development of a Le Méridien hotel in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Le Méridien Tbilisi is expected to include 152 contemporary guest rooms, multiple dining outlets, meeting and event facilities, and a fitness centre.

The new developments add to the existing partnership between Pasha Real Estate Group and Marriott. The companies have collaborated on several properties in Azerbaijan, including The Ritz-Carlton, Baku; The St Regis Baku; JW Marriott Absheron Baku; and Baku Marriott Hotel Boulevard, among others.
