As part of the transformation, guest rooms have been completely refurbished with new furniture, fixtures, and modern finishes.

The layouts have been described as spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows designed to maximise natural light.

Millennium Hotels and Resorts stated that the updated interiors aim to balance contemporary style with comfort and functionality.

Among the notable changes is the replacement of the traditional check-in desk with a welcome lounge, where locally knowledgeable greeters will provide personalised service.

Public areas have also been updated, including the lobby lounge and fireplace lounge, to encourage guest interaction and relaxation.

The hotel’s Club Lounge, which is slated to open in early October 2026, will provide an additional space for guests.

The company stated that the reopening is an important milestone for the Millennium Premier brand and reflects the group’s focus on investing in key urban destinations and providing enhanced experiences for travellers.

With its boutique size and central location close to major attractions and subway lines, Millennium Premier Hotel New York Times Square seeks to offer a quieter and more intimate experience for guests visiting the city.

Millennium Hotels and Resorts operates more than 145 hotels, with properties in key cities worldwide.

Millennium Premier Hotel New York Times Square general manager Vikram Sardana said: “Every aspect of the hotel has been thoughtfully redesigned to create a guest experience that is contemporary, welcoming, and distinctly personal, from the arrival journey and redesigned guest rooms to the social spaces that encourage guests to connect and unwind.

“As we welcome travellers back, we’re also excited to reward them through MyMillennium, creating even greater value and recognition for guests who choose to stay with us.”
